"We're now going to finish our practice by coming from our seated position, laying back onto the mat. Resting the arms alongside the body, and the legs stretched out. Good. Go ahead and turn the palms open, and letting the feet relax. Good. This is a great time to use an eye pillow to drape across the eyes, to block out any exterior light. This is a time of complete letting go. Shavasana is the art of letting go of tension, of stress, and of all of those things that help to cause too much activity in the body. So just letting everything relax and soften into the floor. Good. This is a time where we can start to be very aware of all of the energy flow in the body. So take your awareness to your inner body, and how you feel in the heart area, in the abdomen area, and even the energy that travels from your torso through the arms and the legs and other extremities. So now just letting that breath settle to its natural state. Completely relaxing, giving in to gravity, giving in to the support of the floor. It's a great time to just stay here to rejuvenate the body. You can stay here as long as you like."
