"Now that we have our adaptable walker ski set up, the main purpose of this is to give some more balance. As you can tell, I can put a lot of my weight on here. It moves back and forth, so I can walk with it, and it just adds a lot balance to people that might need a little bit of extra balance support when accessing the outdoors during the winter time. Another great thing about this is it can be used with snow shoes, or Nordic skis on your feet as well. The participant can hold onto this as they're getting their snow shoes or skis put on. Just another point of contact that they can hold onto to. Or if the trail that you're going on is nice and smooth, and not very deep, maybe you don't need any snow shoes or skis at all, and you can just walk as is."
