"The first piece of equipment we have today to help people with disabilities get our there in the winter is what we call the walker ski. And it's basically exactly its names. We have two skis here just old Nordic skis that we've made some attachments to and an old walker. And I'll show you in a second how to assemble the walker ski, but the walker ski is great for people that might have poor balance issues, maybe somebody who's had a stroke and they're going through rehab and are trying to regain the strength in their legs or maybe someone with cerebral palsy that it's only effecting their legs and they use a walker for ever day life. They can adjust their walker to use out in the snow or it might be good for somebody with like a traumatic brain injury that just needs a little bit of extra support with balance, with getting outside and enjoying winter activities."
