One thing that can be an effective technique for some people, when they're trying to maximize their time in a home office, is to designate certain days, as the days that they do certain aspects, of their home business, so for example, let's say Tuesday is your day to crunch numbers. That's the day, where you already know first thing in the morning, you're going to go through your accounts. You're going to call people. Make sure that payments are being sent out, and just take care of like the business side of it, so that's something that can be very helpful, because a lot of times, especially, a lot of people who work from home. There are a lot of people who have home businesses, who are doing more technical things, and there's also a lot of people who work from home, who are more in the creative end of things, like writers, and graphic artists, and that type of thing, so sometimes you can get so in to your work, that you forget that you kind of have to do this maintenance side, of your home business, so, or whether or not it's a home business. Maybe you're just telecommuting, but you still have to keep track of the numbers, so for some people it's helpful to pick a specific day, and not just for that, but to pick a specific day, for any of the kind of maintenance things, that you have to do every week. Maybe it's a certain report that you have to file for an employer, or whatever it may be, but to kind of pick a day or a time that you know you're going to do it, can help some people just be more efficient, because they're never going to get to the point, where they have a whole bunch of backed up reports or activities, that they have to take a lot of time to do, so that's just kind of a time management technique, that's been helpful for me, is to just know certain times, are designated for certain activities.
