"I've gone over some easy simple basic, real basic things to say to a deaf person in their language, and they'll appreciate that. Now we've learned how to meet somebody, how to say our name, where we live, where we work, all that stuff. Some different signs like hungry, sad, happy. Now you already know the person or you want to know what's going on, you can say, what's up? Hey, what's up? You say it to your friends all the time, what's up? One sign. Open your hands, put your middle fingers down and off your chest right there. What's up? Hey, what's up? What's up? What's up? Hey, what's up? Middle fingers, what's up? Really easy, simple."
