Video Transcript

"My name is Jason, I'm with Hi-Tech Window Cleaning, and I'm going to explain how to clean windows. The first step would be to get some water, and add some soap to your bucket. I already have a bucket filled with water, so I can kind of skip that step. In the Winter, we usually use hot water to keep our hands kind of warm. Hot water does tend to freeze quicker than cold water, so you have to be careful with that, as well. In the Summer of course, we try to use cold water, due to the fact that it stays wet longer in the sun. So, I already have some water. I also brought a water key, on the outside of most buildings you need something like this, to obtain water. There's usually facets around the exterior of a building and this is how we gain access to it. On residential windows, usually use an inside faucet, a bathtub, anything of that nature, a hose outside, really doesn't matter. We don't use soft water, it's just tap water, nothing special with it. The soap we use, a lot of people, you know you hear stories of alcohol, or other kind of chemicals, all we use is regular dish soap and there's no secret to that. So, I have a little bit of dish soap here, you just add a couple of little drops into the bucket it doesn't take much, all it does is make the squeegee glide across the glass quicker. So, with that, we'll move onto the next step."
