"Okay, so let's take a look at some of the additional features in the text palate right here. We have, I believe that's called tracking where we say how much space should we allot in between each letter. Right here we have the ability to do superscript, subscript, or normal text formatting. This, I believe is a new function, a new feature, or a fairly recent feature in flash. It allows you to for animation or for readability. And there's a difference, when text is moving about there are things that you need to be aware of so that it's clearly readable and it's not going to be blurry with these. Some features that allow you to play with them. We won't get too much into these but know that they're here. Use device fonts or bitmap text, again, a little bit advanced but it's basically some different options for what kinds of fonts you want to use. Whether you want to tell the computer to only use the fonts that are available on your users computer or whether to embed the fonts which makes the fat flash file larger but guarantees that it always sees that font. So for example, you know, right here we have steer as our font but let's say that our users computer doesn't have skier on their system, it only has silom, well you might be okay with them seeing this and personally I think it's pretty ugly and if you wanted to make sure that even if they didn't have the skier font that they still saw this, well then you simply have to embed that skier font into the flash file which makes it larger but guarantees that it looks exactly as you designed it. So, pluses or minuses that's a decision that you need to make. So those are the main things that you'll need to know about the text formatting. There are other things like putting hyper links in and targets but we don't need to get into that for this tutorial."
