"I work for Pro-Creative.com. We're making this training video to help you learn the fundamentals of Macro Media Flash, sorry, Adobe Flash. Slip of the tongue. Used to be Macro Media. So, if I go ahead and select the shape tool and create a shape, it allows me now to show you the se, sorry, the fourth tool that is on our list, which is the Lasso Tool. So, just like in PhotoShop it allows you to free hand select the portion. And then I'm just moving this with my arrow keys. A portion of the, of a shape. Pretty straight forward. It has another option down here if you click you can see this puts you into Polygon Mode. So instead of having to constantly be worrying about where your mouse is, you just click, move, click, move, click, move, double click to close the selection. And then obviously everything that you've selected is nice angular shapes. So those are the two ways that you can select a chunk out of a shape, the Polygon Mode. Or if you just deselect the Polygon Mode it goes back to the free hand Lasso Tool."
