"Okay, so the first two tools are similar if you know Adobe Illustrator. It's the Selection Tool and the Sub-selection Tool. In other words, if we have and we'll get into this in a second, but, if we have let's we have a box here. Let's color it in so that we can see it more clearly. Let's say we have this box and we want to select the entire box. We'll simply go to the Selection Tool and select. If we want to select just a point of that we'll go to the Sub-selection Tool and we've just selected this point right here. I don't know if you can see that on your screen, but instead of selecting the entire object it just selects one point of the object. Now, one thing to note, there's a difference between selecting the fill and selecting the stroke. And you can see clearly here if I select just that one line, that's called the stroke. The stroke is another word for the outline. So if I click on the outline, it's just going to select the outline. If I double click on the outline, it's going to select the entire outline. So in other words, if I just want this side I click once. But if I want the entire box, I click twice. Now you'll notice that we're only, if I move the selection we've only selected the outline. We have not selected the blue fill. So how do we do that? Well simple, we hold down the shift key and we hit the fill as well. And then we've selected both the stroke and the fill. Another easy way to do that is simply click and drag and you've just selected both."
