"Hi, my name's Joseph Wilkins. I am with Pro-Creative.com. We're an advertising and graphic design agency. And today I would like to show you a little about Adobe Flash. As we launch it here. Flash is a pretty hard application to define exactly what it does. Flash has always been evolving throughout every release. Well right now we're at, let's see we are at, Flash Version CS3. Now it actually went Version 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and then Macro Media who used to own Flash, went into I think it was MX. MX2004 and then Adobe bought Flash. And the latest version now is CS3 Professional. So, Flash essentially was created as a Multimedia interactive tool to add animation and different elements, interactive elements to web design. Now a days with Version 9 as you can see here it's far more powerful than just a Multimedia tool. Flash has a scripting capability and you know interactive ability to take web sites to a whole new level. And so whether you are, you know, looking to learn Flash to better your portfolio to get that job. Or whether you're looking to learn Flash to land those clients with the really complex sites. It's a great tool to have in your arsenal. And as we go through these, these series of tutorials, I'll show you the tools that are available in Flash. I'll show, you know, a lot of the inside, under the hood. And we may even get to some action scripting. And so stick around and we'll fire up Flash in the next tutorial we'll get started with showing you the interface."
