How to Host a Lingerie Bridal Shower

"You might be a maid of honor, in your friend's wedding, and you're hosting a bridal shower and you're looking to do a lingerie shower but you're not quiet sure how to do that, well my name is Laurie Randall with Simply Divine Events and I'm going to tell you how to host a lingerie bridal shower. First thing that you want to do is start with your guest list, talk to the bride and see how she would like to invite and make sure that if there's somebody that might be a little bit offended, you're not probably going to want to include them in that guest list. The next thing that you want to think about is location. You don't want to probably have this at this family style restaurant. If you're having it at a restaurant, you might want to think about having it in a private room or having it in your private home. When you're doing your themed decorations and decor and that sort of thing for your lingerie party, think about having a romantic mood. Think about having candles and flowers and kind of putting a whole romantic setting to it, as well as, when you're doing your games. You might want to think about listing all the famous Hollywood couple, that sort of thing, the romantic movies. Thinking along that line, not just the whole lingerie side of it, thinking what lingerie also means romantic as well so kind of tie that into your whole theme. When you're sending out your invitations, it's very important to list that this is a lingerie party so the guests know that they should be coming with a gift that's suitable to that theme so make sure you specify that in your invitation. When you're thinking about your menu, think about things that might be chocolate, like the whole aphrodisiac menu, that sort of thing. Lingerie parties are a lot of fun, you might also want to think about seeing if somebody else might want to host another shower as well because the bride might want to get some other home goods and that sort of gifts too. This is kind of a good bridal shower that's kind of a second shower so she can have that as well.
