"So you've decided to have a brunch the day after your wedding. So where do you start in choosing your menu? Hi I'm Jessica Meiczinger, and I'm going to talk about the steps in choosing your menu for your brunch the day after your wedding. Some ideas to keep in mind are first of all you want to think about where you want to have your brunch. If you're having your wedding at a hotel, the best idea is to either have it in the hotel's restaurant which they usually do feature a Sunday brunch if you're having your wedding on Saturday or in one of their smaller ballrooms. Definitely keep in mind who you want to invite. Usually you just keep it to your close friends and family and maybe a few out of town guests or whoever is staying in the hotel. You can open have an open invite and just you know have the invitation informal just say brunch will be served from nine till like eleven or noon. So that way it gives the guests time to get down after a fun evening and have time to just kind of casually come down and you know take their time in eating brunch. As far as the menu goes, you want to make sure that it's not the same as your reception or the pre-wedding events. So you want to keep keep it simple. You know if there's anything you and the bride and the groom like, go ahead and incorporate that into the menu. Say for instance you guys love pancakes, do a pancake bar and do different types of pancakes. I suggest doing a buffet so that way guests can come and go at their leisure as opposed to a sit down where everybody has to be there at the same time. You know other things to consider is maybe do an omelet bar. Maybe do some light lunch items. For drinks you can do flavored you know different mimosas. You could do a Bloody Mary bar. So those are just some ideas on how to choose your brunch menu for your brunch the day after your wedding."
