How to Decorate for a Wedding Reception Inexpensively

"So you're planning your wedding and you're trying to decide on decorations for your wedding reception and how to save a little money. Hi, I'm Jessica Meiczinger and I'm going to talk to you about some inexpensive ways on how to decorate your wedding reception. First of all I suggest, if you want to save money, do the decorations yourself. There's many things you can do inexpensively now days and create a beautiful setting for your wedding reception. For your decorations, buy stuff online, buy stuff in bulk. Go to different consignment shops and pick up different vases and containers. Buy flowers in bulk and assemble the center pieces yourself. Or, my suggestion is do you have bridesmaids or friends? Designate them to put the center pieces together or maybe even your wedding coordinator and have her put them out on the tables. Another inexpensive thing to do for decorating is get candles. Those you can reuse, you can reuse the candle holders in your home or future parties. Another inexpensive decoration is to do like streamers or balloons. A lot of times you don't really like to do that for weddings but that will keep your cost down too. If you want somebody to do them professionally when you hired a florist, instead of going with your tall elaborate arrangements, keep to something small and contained. Also, choose flowers in season and that will also keep your cost down as well.
