"So, you've decided that you want to go ahead and get married in Florida. Hi, I'm Jessica Meisinger with Simply Divine Events, and I'm going to talk to you about the steps and what you need to do in order to get married in the state of Florida. First of all, the only thing you need is a Florida State Marriage License, as well as, an officiant that can perform ceremonies in Florida, whether it be an Ordained Minister, a Notary, Justice of the Peace; you know, all those are perfectly legal, and what you'll have to do next, is know where to obtain a marriage license in the state of Florida. The best thing to do is go on line and go to the local government home pages and go to the Clerk of the Court and there you will be able to download all the information; what you'll need to bring, the fees, as well as, how long the marriage license is legal for. Once you've taken a trip to the Clerk of Court and obtained your marriage license, go ahead and set your wedding date and start sending out your invitations to your guest. You know, keep in mind the time of year when choosing a location in Florida, as well as, you know, day as well. You know, if you want something a little more private, consider doing your wedding on the beach during the off season or during the day or evening when it's not as busy. You know, picking a day during the week is a little; probably a little less more crowded than doing it on a Saturday or Sunday when most people flock to the beaches. Some other ideas are; pick attire that suits the whole beach, Florida theme wedding. You don't want to be out on the beach in, you know, tuxedo or heels or, you know, a full ball gown wedding dress with a huge long train, you know, especially during the summer months. It's just a little too hot for that. But most of all, make sure, you know, you let your guest know, too; the attire to wear to like a beach theme or Florida theme wedding. You don't want something too formal. You want something a little more casual. So, those are just some tips on how to get married in the state of Florida. Again, I'm Jessica Meisinger and happy planning."
