"So you just got engaged, and you're starting to plan your wedding, and you might be Irish, and you're looking to incorporate Irish into your wedding, and I'm here to tell you about that. My name is Lori Randall with Simply Divine Events, and I'm going to tell you how to plan an Irish themed wedding. First thing that you're going to want to do is select your wedding date and in the Irish tradition and the Irish culture, the last day of the year is especially lucky for an Irish wedding. So, keep that in mind when you're selecting your wedding date. Another thing to think about when you're planning an Irish wedding is adding a lot of the Irish traditions. You want to maybe do the Irish blessing. The Satin horse shoe is considered lucky, and you might want to have a child or something present that to the bride and put that in her bouquet. That's considered good luck. You also might want to think about having for your ceremony; hiring a piper playing the bag pipes, doing the traditional Irish music. For your wedding reception, maybe you might want to think about going to dance lessons and learning the traditional Irish dance; maybe even making it a little more fun, is getting all your bridesmaids and groomsmen; also attending that dance lesson with you and going up there and doing a little bit of a production and all doing the traditional Irish dance which might be kind of neat for all your guest to see. When you're having your wedding cake, you can do a traditional Irish cake which is a fruit filled cake, and you might want to talk to your baker about that. You can even incorporate some shamrocks and that sort of thing into your decor and green into your colors. So, those are some things to think about when you're planning your Irish wedding. Again, my name is Lori Randall with Simply Divine Events, and I wish you the best of luck in planning your Irish themed wedding."
