"Your skin is your largest organ. New cells are constantly formed and old cells slough off to make room for the new ones. I'm Jackie Silver from Aging Backwards with how to exfoliate dry skin. Believe it or not, we get a whole new epidermis about every month or so. When you exfoliate your skin, you remove the old dead cells and reveal the new healthy cells underneath. This helps to minimize the look of fine lines and wrinkles and gives you glowing youthful skin. In the shower or bath, use an exfoliating cleanser with a textured sponge, shower gloves or a Loofah. Scrub gently in a circular motion, being careful not to rub too hard. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water, and then follow up with a cool rinse to close the pores. Follow that up with a good moisturizer such as pure, raw organic coconut oil which doesn't contain any artificial ingredients to absorb into your skin. Remember, to exfoliate dry skin, choose an exfoliating scrub especially formulated for dry skin, rub in circular motions with a sponge or Loofah and follow up with a hydrating moisturizer. Don't forget your sun screen if you're going to be outdoors in direct sunlight. I'm Jackie Silver with how to exfoliate dry skin. Have a youthful day."
