Treatment of dry skin can be simple and effective. Taking luke warm bathes or showers instead of hot ones and limiting them to five or ten minutes can help alleviate dry skin. Apply moisturizer right after drying off from the bath or shower when your pores are more open and receptive to hydration. Using a humidifier in the house can also help add moisture to the skin. Use heavier cream or lotions with all natural ingredients in the winter. And lighter ones in the summer.
