Your skin is your largest organ, and it will absorb any chemicals you put on it. So why not make your own lotion? I'm Jackie with how to make homemade body lotions. Whisk one teaspoon of Borax together with one cup of rose water in a medium bowl. Warm two tablespoons of olive oil in the microwave for a few seconds being careful not to get it too hot. Using a hand mixer, slowly add the olive oil into the rose water mixture until an emulsion forms. Make lavender water with two handfuls of lavender and two cups of boiling water. Stir that for fifteen minutes and then strain it. Add the lavender water to the emulsified mixture. Let it stand for about one hour. Strain it and store your natural lotion or share it with friends.
