"Even if you don't live in a sunny climate, you can still have that sun kissed look without any harmful ultraviolet rays. I'm Jackie with how to use self tanner. Always do a patch test on a little section of your skin to make sure you're not allergic to the self tanner product. Choose any product of your choice and if you're not sure which is best for you, ask your aesthetician or skin care expert. In the shower or bath, wash with an exfoliating cleanser or your usual cleanser and a loofah sponge or soft cloth. Next apply a moisturizer like a light lotion. I actually like to use coconut oil, nature's skin softener. It's pure and has no added chemicals to absorb into your body. After you've moisturized, apply enough spray tan to the area you're working on and make sure to blend it thoroughly. Use a damp paper towel to remove any excess self tanner on your knees, elbows, neck and feet. It kind of collects there and it gets darker. Immediately wash the palms of your hands and in between your fingers with soap and water because you don't want tan palms. Allow at least twenty minutes for the self tanner to dry before you get dressed. Some products take even longer to dry, so read the package directions. Remember, to use self tanner, first do an allergy patch test, then exfoliate in the shower or bath, moisturize, and apply the self tanner product of your choice. Remove the excess and don't dress for at least twenty minutes. I'm Jackie with how to use self tanner. Have a sun shiny day."
