I'm Jackie with how to avoid ear popping on a plane. Ask your pharmacist about ear plugs for flying. They're really easy to put in. All you have to do is squeeze them and put them in your ear and then they'll puff up. You can also ask your pharmacist about decongestant. They come in non-drowsy formulas and you don't want to get the liquid because of all the safety restrictions, but you can get them in pill form or you can get them in powder form or even chewable tablets. Thirty minutes before take off, take the decongestant. Place the ear plugs in your ears once you're seated on the plane. They'll block out the background noise, but you'll still be able to hear the Flight Attendants speak. Remove the ear plugs when the plane reaches full altitude and then put them back in when the plane begins to descend. Remember, to avoid ear popping on a plane, ask your pharmacist about ear plugs and decongestant. Take the decongestant thirty minutes before take off. If you suspect you may have allergies, ask your doctor before taking the decongestant. Use ear plugs for take off and landing. I'm Jackie with how to avoid painful ear popping on a plane. Happy travels."
