"My name is Ryan Parker with Parker Home Renovations in New Braunfels, Texas and today I'm going to teach you how to hire a septic installer. Now, if you have trouble with your septic system at the house if it's backing up or if your septic needs to be replaced or if you need a new septic system, you may need to get in touch with a septic installer. The first thing you can do is you can go into the phone book and you can pull out a couple of names out of the phone book of septic installers in your area. You want to call these septic installers and make sure they're license. Make sure they insured and make sure that they would get an engineer septic system for your application. Now, once you call these septic people, you also want to get references. You want to contact all these references and ask them how that septic installer did at their job. Ask them stuff like how was the price, how were they cleaning up their mess, were they professional, did they standby their work you want to ask these references things like that. Once you narrow it down to one or two names, you want to get the septic installer to come out and take a look at your house. You can usually get a field on the installer on whether his professional or how comfortable you feel with them by meeting with them and that will also help you choose. Now, after you meet with them and you pick out one or two you really like, you'll get them to give you a written estimate signed by the contractor. Once you pick out the septic installer that you prefer, then you'll take his estimate and you'll get him to type up the contract. Once, he type up a contract, the contract should include the price that his going to do with that scope of work and a time frame that he's going to get it done in. Make sure that he's going to get it inspected. Make sure he pulls the correct permit for it and make sure that he's a license contractor.
