"Under eye bags are caused by fluids that have pulled overnight in the eye area for a number of different reasons. I'm Jackie with how to treat puffy eyes with used tea bags. Early morning eye puffiness can be attributed to drinking too many fluids at bedtime, lack of sleep, allergies, eating a lot of salty food or even hormonal changes. The skin around the eyes become less elastic with age, which causes the underline fat to bulge out and it also shows up as under eye bags. Always check with your doctor to make sure your condition is not something more serious. To get rid of simple under eye bags, save your used tea bags when you make tea. You can store them in plastic baggies in the refrigerator. Black tea contains tannins and caffeine which help to reduce the puffiness under the eye. Chamomile tea has anti-inflammatory properties that relieve tired, puffy eyes. Lie down in a comfortable position and place one cold tea bag over each eye. You can then cover the tea bags with a cool wet cloth too if you want. Breath deeply and relax. Use visualization to calm yourself and rejuvenate. Leave the teabags on for anywhere from five to twenty minutes. Remember to treat puffy eyes with used teabags, steep your tea and store the used bags in a plastic baggy in the fridge.
