"Hi, I'm magician Paul Weatherbee and I'm going to show you the impossible knot trick. This isn't a trick, more or less, a bet. Fair bet among friends. You show a piece of rope and then you tell the folks, "Gee, wouldn't it be impossible if I held on to each end of the rope and a knot appeared?" Well, of course this is impossible, everybody would agree with you. But this is what you do. Once you have everybody convinced that it would be impossible to tie a knot without letting go of the ends. All you have to do is cross your hands, cross your arms rather. Hold one end of the rope with one hand, get the other end of the rope with the other hand. Hold on tight and then just uncross your arms. And there it is, the impossible knot. One more time, all you have to do is cross your arms. Hold one end tight, hold the other end tight, and just uncross your arms, and there it is, the impossible knot. I hope you have fun with this. Until later, keep the magic in your life."
