"Interested in designing a healthy lifestyle but not sure where to get started? This is Alice Monsaert with some great tips for you. First my advice would be seek the advice of a personal trainer. They're going to help you set your goals, talk to you about your initial fitness level, about your experience with exercise, and design a program for you. In your program you should incorporate, 1) healthy eating habits with carbohydrates, fats, and proteins in all of your meals, 2) resistance training for all the major muscle groups of your body - quads, hamstrings, gluts, back, hips, shoulders, with enough resistance to increase muscle mass and 3) a great cardiovascular exercise program which is going to develop the heart and lungs and make you stronger. All of those things combined will increase your activities of daily living, increase your lifestyle, burn fat, increase muscle and develop a nice healthy program for you. Again seeking the advice of a personal trainer is an invaluable resource for you and they will help design an effective program so that you can do your program for lifelong so designing a healthy lifestyle is a lifelong commitment. It takes focus daily on all of those things, nutrition, resistance training and cardiovascular activity. This is Alice hoping that you stay happy and healthy."
