"Have you've ever wondered how to prevent a child's temper tantrum. Hi, I'm Dr. Donna with some advise and tips on how to do that. The first thing is, I think you got to realize is that, throwing temper tantrums, toddlers throwing temper tantrums is really normal, it's a very typical behavior. It's a way for that toddler to try to gain control of their environment. But the best thing is, it doesn't have to last forever, you can do something as a parent. The first thing you want to do, is not be a parent that is aggressive, and showing that type of behavior. Whenever you get upset you throw a temper tantrum, your child is going to learn that. Realize over time too, that with emotional maturity and social skills, your child will learn to use the words and less of their body and their anger. The next thing is, if you see a temper tantrum starting with your child, a situation is brewing, intervene, sit him down, reverse what's going on. If they're getting to be in a temper tantrum with their sibling, part ways, let the child separate themselves, talk to each other. The other thing that you want to do, is remember, when a child is in a temper tantrum (that's a tricky one), that it's very hard sometimes to talk to them. Allow them some space, remove yourself actually from the environment, let them throw it, maybe for a minute or two, then talk to them about it, help them deescalate. I'm Dr. Donna with some tips on, how to prevent a toddler from throwing a temper tantrum. Good luck."
