"With the holidays coming up, I'm going to make going to your checkbook a little bit easier. Now I'm not going to put any more money in your account, but what I'm going to show you is how to make a beautiful holiday checkbook cover. I'm Janet Casto, your independent demonstrator with Stampin' Up! So let's get started. The first thing I did was chose a paper that I liked, and I really like this red paper. And you're going to take your insert for your checkbook cover, and measure it. You'll want to measure the length and the width. And mine is six and three quarters by six and a quarter. So I went ahead and cut my paper six and three quarters by six and a quarter, and then I scored it in the middle at three and three eighths. Once you have that done for your size checkbook--I'm not sure if they're standard or not. Mine seems to be on the small side. You want to take and slide your paper right in to your checkbook cover on both sides, and there. Now that's pretty as it is, but we're going to step it up a notch. I've stamped 'tis the season onto this piece of paper, and then I punched it out with my scallop punch. And that's to remind me it's the holiday season, so every time I go to spend some money my husband can't complain. I'm going to put a little bit of adhesive on the back of this. I don't want this to pop up on a dimensional too much because I want this to be able to fold back into the cover, and you have to be careful on things like that using too much dimension. So once I get this back in, I'm going to slide my checkbook back in there, and I have a beautiful checkbook cover. I'm ready to start the holiday season and my shopping. I'm Janet Casto, your independent demonstrator with Stampin' Up! I hope you enjoy shopping and reaching for your checkbook the next time you see it."
