"I love to make homemade ornaments and things for the holidays. It's an economical way to decorate your home. I'd like to how you how. I'm Janet Casto, your independent demonstrator with Stampin' Up!, and what I'm going to be talking about today is a thankful garland for the holidays. And what I've done--I'm just going to turn this around so you can see it, is I've used chip board to spell out the word thankful. And I've used various designer series paper to cover them. And to cover them is really easy. You just cover them using adhesive, and using your Exacto knife, you're just going to cut out the letter, putting a coordinating piece of paper onto the back. Sometimes you do that, and sometimes you'll take a letter of chip board, and you can change it up any way you like. Here I've embossed a using craft ink, and then embossed, and then just adhered it on top. Now to make my garland, what I've done is I'm using my crocodile, I've punched holes into all of my chip board pieces, and then strung a piece of the wide go grain ribbon into it. This way I can hang it on my stairwell, on my china cabinet, wherever I like. People will come into my home, see this decoration, and just--it'll really make me feel good. I'm Janet Casto, your independent demonstrator with Stampin' Up!. I hope you'll give one of these garlands a try. You can spell out any sentiment that you like. Happy stamping."
