"When your kid comes home from school with all his Valentines, where are you going to put 'em? I'm going to show you a way to make a quick and easy Valentine's box for your child so they can store all their Valentines that they get. I'm Janet Casto, your independent demonstrator with Stampin' Up!. Here's the first thing we're going to do. First, what I like to do is when I make boxes and things like this, I like to have a template. So, this is my template. And, it's a piece of paper that is 11 by 4 inches, I've cut it and I've scored it at 2, 5, 7, 10 and then 2 on the long side. I'll show you again how, what I mean there. I've taken my card stock, it's 4 inches wide by 11 inches long, and then I'm going to take out my cutting blade and I'm going to score it at 2, 5, 7, 10, and then I'm going to turn it to the side and again I'm going to score it at 2 inches. And it's easier if I flip it over and then go ahead and score it at 2. Now, the next thing I want to do is take my paper snips and cut in each one of those scores to the fold line. So, I'm going to cut in here, here, here and then this last tab I'm going to cut off entirely and then just make a point on this one. Now, we're ready to put the box together. Before I do that, I want to stamp it. So, I have my Valentine stamp here and I'm going to do a tone on tone stamping here. So this is real red on real red and I'm just going to randomly stamp my hearts all over the box. You could have the child put their name on it, you could put the date of the you know the year that the Valentine cards were given. The next thing I'm going to do is just fold it on up with a little bit of adhesive, stick these two ends together, those are your tabs. These two ends just go in, in. You just need one more bit of adhesive. You have a Valentine's box and when your child comes home with all his Valentines they can stick 'em right in that box and he has a place to store all of his memories. I'm Janet Casto your independent demonstrator with Stampin' Up! and I hope you and your child get to make this cute Valentine's Day box."
