"A standard size card is five and a half, by four and a quarter, and what I'm going to show you, is the correct way to fold a card ,and what you're going to do, is once you've cut your card, your cardstock, and I usually take an eight and a half by eleven piece of cardstock, and just cut it in half, so I can get two cards, because I like to be frugal, and then I'm going to go ahead and score it, at four and a quarter, and on cardstock, you can go back and forth a couple of times. Give yourself a nice score line, and then all you're going to do, is go ahead and fold the edges up. Bring them up so they match, and push it down.If you have a thicker cardstock, you can also use your bone folder, to hold that edge down. You get a nice, crisp fold every time, so let me show you that again. At four and a quarter, go ahead, give it a nice score. Bring both edges together, and your card is ready to go. The other thing you can do, besides a standard card, is using your twelve by twelve paper. You can go ahead and make some three by three cards, so in order to do that, I'm going to cut this at six, right down my paper, because I like to get as many cards as I can, out of a sheet of paper, and then I'm going to go ahead, and cut these at three, so I can get eight, three by three cards, out of one twelve by twelve piece of paper, and then the same thing again. I'm going to score it. I know my length is six, so I'm going to score at three. Score, score, fold together, perfectly scored cards every time. I'm Janet Castro, your independent Demonstrator with Stampin Up! I hope your scores are perfect every time, and you enjoy making your cards. Happy stamping."
