"Hi, my name's Tim Cole. I'm with the Austin Reptile Service. I've been keeping reptiles and amphibians for over forty years. We're here to talk about keeping green tree frogs. These are fairly common as pets, and they average about two, three inches long. And as their name implies, they are green. They also have a white stripe running down their side, which is an easy identification point. You keep them pretty much the same as any other tree frog. The need a taller cage, 'cause they like to climb. Keep them at room temperatures, mid-seventies...upper seventies is okay. You want to provide a water bowl for them to get into if they want to cool off. And it doesn't hurt if you want to mist them with a plant mister. They are going to eat a variety of small insects. Most people feed them crickets. When you do feed crickets, you need to supplement the crickets with calcium, and they'll also eat wax worms and meal worms, flying insects. So there's a variety of things you can feed them."
