"Hi, I'm Hunter from the Austin Aqua-Dome. A lot of saltwater aquarists dream of having a shark as a pet. Sometimes we do import sharks, now most of the sharks that we bring in are some of the smaller varieties. Most of which still do grow to approximately three feet. Now there are a number of places that you can buy a pet shark. Online retailers will have them for sale and as I said we bring them in from time to time as do the other local retailers. I would recommend that you do in fact buy a shark if you choose to from a local retailer as sharks are slightly more difficult to keep than most fish it's that much more important to find a healthy specimen that you can observe and see actually feeding before you order so that they will be better able to acclimate into your home tank conditions."
