"One phenomenal way to dunk a ball that's spectacular is the tomahawk dunk. Now, the tomahawk slam really is--can actually be something that you can use in a game which can really be effective as well, as looking cool. Hi, I'm Travis, and this is how you tomahawk slam. Number one, once you take off on a tomahawk, you want to make sure--it's just like a basic dunk. You want to take off, you want to plant with your left foot if you're right handed--you want to plant with your left foot, and you want to jack up your right leg so that you get enough lift and power so that you get above the rim. Now, once you do that--now, that's if you're tomahawk dunking with one hand. Now, if you're tomahawk dunking with two, you want to come off of two feet. And that takes a lot of power because it's a lot harder to jump off two feet than it is to jump off one for a lot of people. Me, personally, I'm a two footed jumper, so I jump off both feet, and once you jump and get in the air, whether it's one or two, you want to put it behind your head, like this, and then you bring it down. Now once you bring it--once you get it above the--this is something that's a little more advanced than regular dunking, because that means if you're going to cock it behind your head, you've got to make sure that you're high enough that you give enough, that you're in the air for enough time where you still can slam it down, and get a completion on your shot. So, there you have it. Tomahawk dunking."
