"You know, during a game, you'll have a variation of passes that you may or may not have to make. One that could be really effective is the bounce pass. Hi, I'm Travis, and this is exactly how to shoot, how to make that bounce pass. Here you go. What you want to do when you're doing a bounce pass is, you have someone on your team set up. And a bounce pass can be simple. It can be a simple step and bounce, and you want to bounce it right in the middle between both of you so it bounces from my chest area--torso area--to the opposite person's torso area. Or, you can make it a little more complex if there's a defensive man in the middle of you, and do a wrap around bounce pass. And same premise. You step with each of the passes. So, with a wrap around you can either wrap around a basic wrap around, stepping with the right foot, or you can do a more complex one locking your man away, stepping through with the opposite foot. Now, if I'm doing--passing it from the other side, same premise. Just use the opposite foot, opposite hand. And make that bounce pass. Now, what's important is that you bounce it at the right spot so that it comes right to the correct place so the other man can handle the ball, and actually do something with it. You don't want to have him in trouble by making a bounce pass where it hits him in the knees or hits him in the ankles where we can't really do anything with it. You want to bounce the ball so it hits him right in the--what they call the bread basket. Right in the bread basket so that person can control it. There you have it. The bounce pass."
