"Jump shots, whenever you're playing against a zone defense, can be a life saver. Hi, I'm Travis, and this is shooting a jump shot. One thing you want to do when you're starting to get you're feet together for a jump shot is; you want to first when you catch it, you want to plant with your left foot, bring the other foot to follow through and you want to square yourself to the basket. So, you're directly square with the basket, okay. Now, what a lot of jump shooters try to do is, once they get that lead foot just a little bit in front of the other foot, they; you've got to bend your knees, you stare at the basket, bring your elbows up, get your eyes on target and follow through. Now if you check what I just did. I spelled the word beef. Now, beef is exactly what a jump shooter; a jump shooter would do. Beef is balance. B for balance. E for elbows up; second e for eyes on target and the F for follow through. That's shooting a jump shot."
