"Are you ready to add some pretty arm movements to your nice shimmy? My name is Karen and this is Johanna. We're with Hip Expressions Belly Dance Studio in St. Petersburg, Florida. Let's add a nice pretty arm undulation that's very fluid on top of a nice powerful fast shimmy. Let's first review what our arm undulation looks like. We're going to keep the shoulders still on this and we're going to lift at the elbow, wrist, top of the hand and then opposite. So that's what it looks like on one side and then the other side is just going to go in the opposite direction. You want to keep it and nice and small. Nice and pretty. You don't want to get it all waving around. Get it nice and under control so it's just enhancing your shimmy and not taking over. Let's get our shimmy going nice and good. All right. Keep those heels nice and pressed into the floor keep that belly button in the spine. Lift that chest. Now let's add those pretty arms floating on top of your shimmy. Good. Keep that chest up. Where's your belly button? Keep a nice smile on your face. Don't forget to breath and get that shimmy. Keep it going. Nice and even. Remember it's not a vibration. Good and breath. Practice this in the mirror so you can make sure your shoulders are nice and still. Your chest stays lifted and you'll have a real pretty arm undulation on top of your shimmy."
