"My hardest day; well, ya' know, since this is a 2000 to 2010 period that we're working in here; we're on the upper end of that 2010 end, but I remember when the 9/11 event happened, and I remember the subsequent year after that, when there was an enormous amount of corporate scandal in corporate America, and there was lack of confidence in corporate culture, in stocks, in our economy, in the market in general, and it is very, very difficult when the market is selling off, and you're watching people's accounts go down, and you're watching the stock market go down, and a lot of money go down with it. It's very, very difficult to remind people on a daily basis, cause' my worst day wasn't one day; it was a whole year of reminding people, stay with your plan, don't change it. Be patient, it'll work itself out. Add money when it's down. I mean, in order to manage money well for people, you have to be thinking outside the box, and often counterculture of what the market is doing, so that you can look for opportunity for your clients when things out there may may be very bleak in the media and also in real life. So, if you really want to be an FA, you might want to be sure that you can stand up to some pretty tough heat when the market and people's accounts are going down, because it is going to happen."
