"Hi my name is Amy Erinburger and I am a commercial model in Portland, Oregon with Option Model Management. I am going to tell you a little bit about why I became a model. I think like many young women, I idolized what I saw in fashion magazines. I thought the women were beautiful. I thought that clothing was really interesting and I felt like I had some calling, some ability to do this work. And I started shooting pictures with my friends when I was you know ten years old. In my basement with sheets in the backdrop and you know we would pose and pretend to be models. So there was always just this real love of the camera and love of clothing and being showy. Kind of thing happening and eventually, well not eventually. Just a couple of years after those mock photo shoots I was actually trying to really learn the art and study it and then you know. As I turned about sixteen years old I was getting signed with my first agency in Tokyo. And I left the country and worked as a model for three months there and had a really great experience. And I was hooked."
