My name is Kate James. I'm a Compounding Pharmacist at Broadway Apothecary in Eugene, Oregon. And now I'm going to tell you a little bit about what Pharmacists can expect to make in their career field. There's quite a range, but generally speaking, Pharmacists are able to do quite well financially. Starting wages can be anywhere from seventy or eighty thousand, upwards to a hundred and twenty, a hundred and thirty thousand per year. There are situations that will allow for a Pharmacist to make more money. Obviously being in a management situation managing personnel, being involved in a larger organization like a large hospital or being a District Manager for a large chain pharmacy. Those will allow for higher reimbursement rates. Benefits are very good. Generally speaking in the health care field, most people have very nice health benefits and retirement benefits and those types of things.
