How to Become a Real Estate Agent

"Being a real estate agent is a great career. I'm Richard Blake in Clearwater, Florida. And I'm here to explain to you how you can become a real estate agent. The first thing that you want to do is make sure that you have the appropriate or required licensing that, in your State. The easiest way to go about getting this licensing is to go to a local real estate school in your area. You can find these schools on line. Simply go to Google, or Yahoo, any of the websites and search for real estate education in your specific city. That'll give you a list of schools that are available. And then just give them a call, find out when their course schedules are and whatever time frames work for you, then you can schedule your classes accordingly and you'll be well on your way to becoming a real estate agent. Or at least getting the licensing to become a real estate agent. At that point in time you're going to want to interview with different brokers in the area. You may want to speak with, with five or ten different companies. And sit down with the broker, or the in house broker there who's going to be your boss. And really just get a feel for what their company's about and go with whoever you're most comfortable with. OK? So, again, the first step's going to be to make sure that you get the appropriate licensing that your State requires, and then get a list of brokers in your, in your area and go and interview with them.
