"When selling your property, try to look at your home through the eyes of a potential buyer. I'm Richard with the Richard Blake Homes Team in Clearwater, Florida. And I'm here to explain how to prepare your home for sale. The first thing you want to do is make sure that the home is cleaned thoroughly. If you need to, hire a professional cleaning service to come out and clean the home for you. Clean all of the, the items that you may not clean on regular basis such as the oven, the refrigerator, etcetera, your, all of your appliances and so forth. And also you're going to want to tidy up the place. Remove all the clutter from the home. And, it's a good idea to remove some of the items from your walls. You have probably accumulated quite a bit of memorabilia and items that are important to you, but not necessarily important or meaningful to the potential buyer coming through the home. What we really want to do is kind of open up the home and make sure there's as much space as possible. Be sure to remove all the dog toys, the kids toys, any items that can be put away or into a closet and hidden out of sight so that the potential buyer's really feel that the home is very spacious. OK? These are just a couple of ideas to start with. Most importantly, just make sure that your home does get a thorough cleaning. And I hope that helps you a little bit on how to get your home prepared to sell. Thank you and have a great day."
