"A quick claim deed will remove someone or add someone to the title of your property. I'm Richard with the Richard Blake Homes team in Tampa, Florida, and I'm here to assist you with how to do a quick claim deed. Here in Florida, what you're going to want to do is locate your title company. You can do this generally by contacting your local real estate agent or even just looking in the yellow pages and on the Internet in search for a good reputable title company in the area. Tell them what it is that you would like to do. Generally, you know, an example would be if there were spouses that wanted to remove themselves from the interest of the property, then they would get the appropriate paperwork done that would remove their name from the title of the home so they're no longer obligated to the property. And again, in four, the entitled companies are going to be the ones to assist you with that, so very inexpensive fee. They'll have all the notary publics, and all the necessary paperwork to get that done. It's really just a matter of a few signatures and adding names and removing names. if you are outside the state of Florida, I would recommend that you contact your local real estate attorney to draft those documents for you. Or you could go to the public library and they will have the forms there as well. you just want to make sure that when you fill out those forms that your local real estate attorney does review them to make sure that you filled them out correctly. OK. Again, I'm Richard Blake, I hope that helps you a little bit in how to do a quick claim deed. You guys have a great evening."
