"Advertising your rental property can be a difficult thing to do. I'm Richard Blake in Clear Water Florida and I'm here to explain how you can advertise your rental property. First thing that you want to do is get a rental sign out in the front yard. Most people have narrowed it down to a specific community or neighborhood that their interested and their going to take the weekend off and go and drive around and look at homes that are available for rent and the easiest way for them to find out. Is by the for rent sale, the for rent sign in the yard. Make sure that you put a phone number on there. That your going to answer preferably your cell phone or something your going to have with you the majority of the day. That way you don't loose out on any potential renters. Next thing that your going to want to do is put the property on the Internet. Put it post it on as many websites as possible. To create as much exposure as possible for your rental. To potential renters coming into the area. Some websites such as Craig's List, Yahoo, Goggle all these websites are great places for you to post the rental property on and will create more exposure for your property. OK, I'm Richard Blake in Clear Water. I hope that this helps you out a little bit on how to advertise your rental property. Again most importantly take some good photos and get that property on line. Have a great day."

on 11/19/2008 Great tips...as a landlord I am always looking for new places to advertise. I recently found a great site called rentalspacenetwork.com. Not only can you post your properties to numerous sites including CL as Richard mentioned but you also get a full range of property management tools such as online applications and leases which can be signed using electronic signatures. I highly recommend this site, you definitely want to post online to as many places as you can.
