First thing you want to do is make sure your property is in really good showing condition, meaning make sure that the property is very clean. If you need to hire a professional cleaning company or maid service to come out and give the house a good deep cleaning. Another thing that you want to do is remove all the clutter from the home. Remove any items that are just out of place or may have accumulated over the years that are important, are memorabilia to you that isn't necessarily meaningful to a potential home buyer and is just taking up space. Really what we want to do is clear out as much clutter as possible to make sure that the home looks large and spacious for the next potential home buyer. All those things are meaningful to us, the new person coming in it's not really important to them. What is important to them is knowing that the stuff that they have is going to fit in the home. So let's make plenty of room for the potential home buyer to envision their own items in the home as well.
