"Hiring a discount real estate agent should not be a difficult task. I'm Richard Blake, and I'm here to explain to you how you can hire a discount real estate agent. I myself am a real estate agent as well. I'm not a discount agent, I'm actually a full service agent, which is a little bit different than what you'd be looking for in a discount real estate agent. The best place for you to start looking for a discount agent, would be in your local brokerages. So, call up your local brokerages, and ask them who the discount real estate agent is within their office. Another place that you could start looking is on-line, websites, such as Google, AOL, Yahoo, all these places. Simply search for discount brokers with the name of your local city, community or neighborhood. Most of these brokerages are going to offer you packages, such as, they may offer you three different things. As far as a full service broker, they're going to do all the MLS, the local publications, different websites, they can be on a hundred different websites, that sort of thing. Where as the next package down may be simplistic as putting a property on the MLS, and only putting it on, say 5 or 10 of the company websites, and then the third package could be as simple as just putting it on the MLS and not doing anything else. That's something that you've got to decide of. You want to market, the local market that you're in, are sales up, are sales down, how easy or how difficult is it to sell a property in your given market today. Obviously those items you're going to want to think about, and consider the time frames that you need to sell the property in. And if you're in a market that's a little more difficult, or a little longer period of time on the market, you're going to want to choose it a full broker, full service broker, rather than a discount broker. But if you do want a discount broker, again, start with your local brokerages, call them up, just ask who the discount broker is in the office, and they'll gladly get that information to you. Okay. I'm Richard Blake, thank your for your time, and have a great day."
