"How to get your home ready to sell. I'm Richard Blake, and I'm here to help you get your home ready to sell. The most important thing that you can do when you put your home on the market, is make sure that it's as clean and clutter free as possible. I highly recommend that you hire a professional maid cleaning service, or house cleaning service. As well as, remove all old items, and anything that might clutter the home. A lot of items that people overlook are, toys, older pictures on the wall that may have accumulated over the years, anything that's gathering dust, that hasn't necessarily been added to the house, say, the lays year or 2 years. The longer you've owned the home, the chances are the longer clutter you have accumulated over the years. And although those things are meaningful to you, the new potential home buyer that's coming through the home, doesn't necessarily- isn't attracted to those items they way that you are. And what's most important to them, is the space and the utility of the home. So the more items that we can get out of the home, the better it would show. As well as, I can't emphasize enough how cleanliness is important. If you've got pets, kids, anything of this sort that are a bit messy, make sure that you clean up real well before the house is shown, and you'll have a much better experience with your potential home buyers. I'm Richard Blake, that's how you can get your house ready to sell. Have a great day."
