"Hello, hey have you ever wondered how to make sense of your breakup? When a relationship breaks up it's always difficult. I'm Dr. Felicia and I have a few tips to share with you. For example, how to make sense of a breakup is more meaningful if you try to look back on the positives of that relationship. Relationships do come to an end quickly these days and those are things that we all have to rationalize, but, would you be better off if you never had the relationship or do you have fun, beautiful memories and experiences from having that relationship? Famous author, Miriam Williamson writes about relationships and she talks about the fact that what would be missing if that person was never in your life? So rather than focus on the negative of losing that person, relish on the gift of having that person in your life and remember the good parts that go with it. How much more have you grown as a person by knowing that person in your life? The other thing that you might want to look at and haven't considered is what contributed to the breakup. Are there personal traits of yourself that can be change? So there's a lot of insights that need to be drawn from this, both in the positives of the relationship, but also, in the aspects of yourself that may need to be worked on for future relationships. All persons are said to come into our lives to teach us something, to teach us a lesson. So be open-minded and be receptive to that lesson and then be ready to move forward to do a better job in the next relationship. So, basically that's how you make sense of a breakup. Good luck, Dr. Felicia, goodbye."
