"Hi, have you ever though of how to prepare food for your teens party? Well, I'm Doctor Ferrara and I'd like to share a few tips with you. One of the things you want to do is get your invitations out early. But also, on the invitation, you might want to list any types of foods your expecting to have. This helps other children clarify for allergies or anything like that that one might have to a particular food. Also, certain teens today are vegetarians, so you might want to check into that, so you might want to have a variety of foods ready for them. The typical hands on foods that they can eat themselves, such as tacos, pizza, one dish entrees, are things that are easier to eat. If you're planning on having a cake, it's better to have something like cupcakes so they can individually pick one or two as they want them. You don't have to worry about cutting and messiness, etc, things like that. You also want to make sure that you have beverages on hand. Plenty of beverages, two to three per individual teen, as well as the entree, you would expect one to two entrees per teen because when they're together they will be talking and excited and eating more. They usually stay up later, so they'll eat more as well. So you want to makes sure that all that food is prepared easily. Also, don't forget to have those garbage bags on hand and pick up all the paper dishes and throw the things up to make up clean up much rapider for whoever it is that's cleaning up. And, of course, if you're planning a teen party be sure there's adult supervision, that's also key, and you know who they are. With that in mind, enjoy your food preparation, and have fun. Plan it out, your recipes with your teen, that makes a bonding situation between parent and teen. That helps as well and it teaches the teen how to plan as well. So, do have a safe party, a nutritional party, but a fun one. Good luck. Doctor Felicia. Bye."
