"Hello. Have you considered putting your child up for adoption? Well, I'm Dr. Felicia and I'd like to share some important tips with you about this very serious matter. When you're considering putting a child up for adoption you should start early in your pregnancy seeking out agencies, advice and counseling. You should weigh up the pros and cons of putting a child up for adoption and remember that most adoptions call for the father's name on the birth certificate to be placed and signed for adoption as well. So it's not just the mother. So you will have to involve the father, but also make sure that you pick a, select a reputable agency - adoption agency - so that your child gets placed in the best possible home. Nine out of ten times once you go through delivery the best method is to have the child taken immediately so that you don't get attached to the child. It's a very sad time for the mother so be prepared for that feeling of separation. But the important thing to remember is what are your goals in setting the adoption. Is it to give your child a better life? And that's what it would be. You would come to those terms through counseling at the various agencies. So remember if you're considering putting your child up for adoption take time and do the counseling and I wish you good luck with this very serious decision. Again, this is Dr. Felicia saying goodbye for now."
