Video Transcript

"To become a pharmacist the first step is to complete your bachelors degree. In most cases pharmacists choose a science degree such as chemistry. Upon graduation with your bachelors degree you have to apply to a graduate program in pharmacy. Which is a four year doctorate program. Typically the GME is a required graduate entrance exam. And upon application and admission to pharmacy schools, a four year course of study, upon graduation you're granted the degree of Pharm D. And at that point you can sit for the state licensing exam in the state in which you wish to practice. Most medical practitioners can be licensed in multiple states and upon passing the state licensing exam can practice as a pharmacist."
