How to Make an Origami Balloon

"A classic Origami piece from the beginnings of Origami is the water bomb or as we call it here in America, the balloon. My name is Robert Segundo and today I'm going to teach you how to fold that balloon. If you look down here, you can see I already have my paper pretty creased. And basically what we're going to do is we're going to go into what is called the water bomb base because this is how it all begin. Just as you have your bird base for your crane, you have your water bomb base for your water bomb. So to make that we're going to bring it over, like so and make a triangle, then open it back up and then fold this corner over as well, make a triangle. What you're going to have initially is your big X crease like so. What you're going to do is if you fold it in half like so and put that crease centered as well, it will help you along with your water bomb. As you bring your centerline over like so, cross it back like this and there's your triangle to start everything off with. So what we're going to do is we're going to take this end corner, fold them up like so, on all four sides. Here we go, we're going to take this flops from this diamond shape here and fold them in towards the center like that, just flip it over, do the same thing over here. What we're going to do is we're going to take these loose ends here, we're just going to fold them and tuck them into the inside of our triangle like so, that side then on that side. Let's do this again over here like so. Here you go. Now here is our open in, where we're going to blow our air into it. So if we take it and, there you go, your balloon or water bomb.
